Our Tumutoa Warrior and wife Mānia, open their Are Kuru (Breadfruit Hut) and hearts to give you an authentic insight into local way of living here on Rarotonga, every day of the week with four fun & engaging tours.

Umu Stringband & FireShow 🔥

Start the afternoon with us making your delicious meal in a traditional Umu cooking class. With two hours cooking time, weave your own rourou/food basket then storytelling. Husk, open & grate coconut to the beats of our drummers, then squeeze fresh coconut cream for ikamata (marinated raw fish). Enjoy the feast then FireShow.

Legends of Raemaru ⛰

The legends of Mountain Raemaru has been passed down by our ancestors. Enjoy a mountain trek & hear the history & legends of warriors during battles. Take in the spectacular views, then local fruits and coconuts at the summit. Bring water, walking shoes, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent.

Traditional Umu & Discovery Walk 😋👣

Experience everything included in the discovery walking tour above, while the traditional umu:hangi food you prepared earlier is cooking. Weave your own rourou-food basket, husk, open, grate coconut & squeeze cream into ikamata. Then feast together.
